TIM HACKER
Tim Hacker completed his PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996 in Exercise Physiology under the direction of A. James Liedtke developing swine models of cardiac hibernation and stunning. Next, he joined the faculty at Concordia University in Wisconsin to help create a new school of Physical Therapy. He returned to UW-Madison in 2000 to join the Cardiovascular Research Core Lab.
Dr. Peiqing Wang is the head small animal surgeon in the Cardiovascular Physiology and Surgery Core Facility. She received her MD and practiced as a Physician Specialist on cardiovascular diseases in China for many years before she joined the academic research staff at UW-Madison.
ALLISON BRODBECK
Allison Brodbeck completed her BA at Roger Williams University in 2012 in Marine Biology. She then began her career in animal husbandry working with, and training, exotic species including cetaceans and pinnipeds, at Dolphin Quest Hawaii and The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Connecticut.
